Vrooom! Cars movie crafts & snacks

It's countdown time for my three boys:  next week the movie Cars II is released and my guys are revved up!  In the spirit of this fun movie, we made a few edible crafts:  oreo cars & Cars movie marshmallow necklaces

Oreo wheel cars:
card stock,
tape, scissors,
oreos, crayons,
cylinders & aluminum foil (optional)

Trace one large circle - cut in half.
Trace & cut two smaller circles for wheels.
Add a foil window, and tape together.
Decorate with crayons & you're off to the races!

Best part:  eating the wheels!

Cars Movie Marshmallow Necklaces

I found these Cars' movie marshmallows at Target and thought they'd be an awesome movie snack!
Very sticky, but fun!

Supplies:  marshmallows, fishing line, toothpick

Poke a hole in the center of the marshmallow with a toothpick.
String marshmallows onto fishing line, and enjoy!

These cheeks were made for marshmallows!

Coffee break for mom,
and Cars book for the boys!
I love, love, love having a few older
school kiddos who can read to their siblings!

"Okay, here we go. Focus. Speed. I am speed. One winner, forty-two losers. I eat losers for breakfast. Breakfast? Maybe I should have had breakfast?"
(Lightning McQueen, Cars)
