Sand messages, cards, & frames

Heading to the beach?  Don't forget to write a message or draw a design in the sand, and take a picture.  These pictures are fun to frame, or make cards.

I matted this picture on
5 x 7 inch white card stock,
inked around the edges,
then framed it.

Makes a perfect
"you are in my heart" gift
for an anniversary, or better yet,
a "just because I love you" gift.

Take it out of the frame
and you have a fun card!
I used Fired Brick Distress Ink
to ink the edges of the white card stock.

Or, the easiest way to make a card:
just print your picture,
write your message on the back,
and you have a postcard to mail!

We've even put sand in a small bottle
and added a note inside:
a message in a bottle!

When I was expecting, I had
my man take a picture of my belly
in the sand with the title "Baby".

I also try to take pictures
of my kids' hand & feet prints,
then date them & put
them in a baby book/scrapbook.

"To see a world in a grain of sand
and a heaven in a wild flower,
hold infinity in the palm of your hand
and eternity in an hour."
(William Blake)
