1000 gifts journal...good-bye high chair

Good-bye high chair.  Thank-you for the memories...for safely holding my four sweet babies, for joining us at dinner for almost nine years.  I had hoped to donate you to a local shelter, but almost a decade of my chubby babies enjoying you has been your undoing.  Your tray is cracked, broken, and not safe for soft baby hands.

I shared my journal:  1000 gifts in this post.

I'm adding these gifts to my journal:

A retired high chair that held four healthy and growing babies.

Food on the table.

The gift of thriving babies, thriving children.

What gifts are you thankful for today?

"Yesterday is history.  Tomorrow is a mystery.
And today?  Today is a gift.
That's why we call it the present."
