Birthday treat shortcut (I cheated)

I sooo cheated.  Having two kids with birthdays six days apart in August equals craziness.  We baked and ate a lot of cupcakes last week.  By the end of the week when it was time to send treats to school with my third grader, I felt like taking a shortcut.

Last year we made rice krispie treats, wrapped them in plastic, then printed birthday labels to attach like stickers.  Simple, and what we were planning to do again until I spotted these ready-made-treats that brought a smile to my face.

Love it that the smart folks in rice krispie treat land left room for my son to label his treats.
Love it even more that we had his treats ready in under 10 minutes.

Ahhhh....sweet time.

As much fun as I have doing creative projects with my kids, there are just those weeks when we need to take shortcuts to improve our quality of life.

is that it comes one day at a time."
