Muscle Man Meatloaf

My muscle man made muscle man meatloaf for our Sunday meal.  How's that for a tongue twister?  Love him.  Love it that he cooks.  Love this meatloaf!

Muscle Man Meatloaf

2 pounds ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 medium onions, chopped
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup milk (or half-and-half)
salt/pepper to taste
1 onion, chopped very fine
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons coffee
1/4 cup brown sugar
butter to saute' onions
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Meatloaf:  Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.  Mix milk and water.  Add to meat mixture a little at a time until smooth, but firm.  Shape into a loaf and put in greased baking pan.  Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
Sauce:  Saute onions in butter until golden and add all other ingredients.  Bring to a boil, then simmer 15 minutes.  After loaf has cooked for 30 minutes, pour half of the sauce over meatloaf.  Return meatloaf to oven and bake 45 minutes more.  Remove meatloaf from oven, pour remaining sauce on top, and serve.  Mouthwatering!
