Banana Crumb Muffins

We love these sweet banana muffins, and they are a great way to start any day!  I like to serve them with fruit and cheesy scrambled eggs.  These muffins don't last long at our house!

Banana Crumb Muffins

4 ripe bananas, mashed
2 sticks of butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 cups flour (I use whole wheat)
1 cup milk
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix the bananas and butter.  Add the rest of the ingredients.  Mix well.  Fill muffin tins halfway, then add a small amount of crumb topping.  Crumb topping:  Combine 2/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, and 2 tablespoons flour.  Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
