Kids' Travel Guide to the
Fruit of the Spirit.
It is organized like a travel guide book, complete with road signs and maps. My 3rd grader just started a longitude/latitude unit at school, and loves the map elements. My Kindergartner can do most of the activities, and I've made some adjustments for my preschooler.
Our first activity was to "map" our day after dinner. I had my younger kids draw pictures, and my older kids labeled their maps. We talked about how they experienced the fruits during their day: how they gave love/received love, gave kindness/received kindness, etc... It was awesome to hear their thoughts on how to live the fruits of the spirit. Our devotions have really made me stop and think about how I'm living the fruits as a mom, wife, friend - in all my roles.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law."
