Wowza. Who knew?
One crescent roll plus 1/2 fruit roll-up = yummy.
My kids were amazed at this fun breakfast.
They loved making them almost as much as eating them.
My three-year-old thought I knew magic.
Rock on magical mom!
Credit for this innovation goes to Sheryl at Memories on Marshall. I recently went to this cool retreat located outside of St. Louis with friends. Loved the time with my girls, and loved all the yummy food she served!
Sheryl's recipe below:
(we used green fruit roll-ups this time, but I loved the strawberry ones she used)
Strawberry Breakfast Crescents
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent rolls
4 rolls Betty Crocker Strawberry Fruit Roll-Ups
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 to 3 teaspoons milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Unroll dough; separate into 8 triangles.
Unroll fruit roll-ups. Cut each roll to make 2 triangles.
Place each fruit roll triangle on 1 dough triangle.
Fold or tuck each fruit roll so all is on dough.
Roll up each dough triangle.
Place point side down on cookie sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes.
Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet.
Make glaze with powdered sugar, vanilla, & milk.
Drizzle glaze over warm rolls. Yum!

isn't going to have any trouble making pies
exactly like mother used to make."

take it or leave it."
